time to start writing..

I was at work today and was thinking back about my blog and about my kids growing up. I have grown a lot over the years and my kids have taught me a lot. ( and I had a very patience husband ) I wouldn't be here tonight if it hadn't been for my kids and Tim. My kids are awesome I know I'm there mom so I feel that way but I'm serious. They are good natured, funny and normal :) I thought of a funny story today while I was in the bathroom and if I don't write it down I'm afraid I will forget it as my memory and old age set in lol!! It was one of those days when you as a mother felt would never end. It was in the summer, kids running in and out, it was hot and a ton of work to do. My kids were young and I was busy going from one thing after another. The dog's eye had something wrong with it and Timothy was worried about it so I told him get a rag, get it wet and wash her eye with it. Thinking he would go do what I said I let it go. Tim came home and it was always his routine to go to the bathroom and wash his face and arms. Timothy came in and said mom I need to wash the dog's eye again...Where is my rag... Dad you are using my rag LOL!!! The look on Tim's face was enough to make us all bend over laughing!!! He had to re-wash!!! I don't blame him. Timothy and I were told not to use a wash cloth but a rag...and not to leave it by the sink :) Tim was sure he was going to break out with some eye problem :) I'm glad I took the time when my kids were small to stop and enjoy life with them. There are days I wish I could turn back time but I have my memories and that can never be taken away.
