Freeze Corn . . . . . . .

Ok so we do corn a little different up here. . . . .but I will have to say I like it a lot better than the old way . . . .plus it is much faster!!!!

Husk the corn. . . .clean. . . .and then cut the corn off the cob. . . . .

Take 9 cups of corn
3/4 cups of water
1/3 cups sugar
1 tbls. salt
Bring to a boil and stirring constantly boil 2 mins.. . . . . and then cool on cookie sheets. When cooled place in freezer bags

It sound like it would be very sweet and would but the pounds on. I think I would prefer the old way. Tim

1/3 cup of sugar doesn't make it "sweet". If you pick your corn late and is a little on the "hard" side it's way better this way. It took my mother-n-law a while to get her mind changed. . . . but she is living proof you can teach an old dog new tricks (snicker)
